Say you are taking a tough science class (cell bio or organic chem), how is your mood like based on the time till the exam?

lets say you are a week from the exam, how is your preparation and mindset like each time?

7 days before the exam:
6 days before the exam:
5 days before the exam:
4 days before the exam:
3 days before the exam:
2 days before the exam:
1 day before the exam:
Day of the exam (say exam is at noon):
 
7 days before the exam: I'll study tomorrow
6 days before the exam: I'll study tomorrow
5 days before the exam: I'll study tomorrow
4 days before the exam: I'll study tomorrow
3 days before the exam: I'll study tomorrow
2 days before the exam: Better start studying, tomorrow is good
1 day before the exam: I'll still have time to study tomorrow
Day of the exam (say exam is at noon): ****
 
7 days before the exam: I'll study tomorrow

5 days before the exam: I'll study tomorrow
4 days before the exam: I'll study tomorrow
3 days before the exam: I'll study tomorrow

Actually this is basically what I did for the MCAT.
 
7 days before the exam: Read chapters covering exam
6 days before the exam: Read more chapters
5 days before the exam: Hmm..that exam shouldn't be too hard, this info is pretty straightforward
4 days before the exam: Focus on other things, work, chill
3 days before the exam: rewrite or review notes from supplement
2 days before the exam: I got this
1 day before the exam: oh crap, exam is tomorrow, better study all day--do old tests
Day of the exam (say exam is at noon): Furiously reviewing notes
 
7 days before the exam: Watch TV
6 days before the exam: Watch TV
5 days before the exam: Commence studying (read 2 pages of textbook)
4 days before the exam: Frantically study
3 days before the exam: Frantically study
2 days before the exam: Panic attack from frantically studying
1 day before the exam: Lose all hope, acceptance of my fate
Day of the exam (say exam is at noon): Panic, last minute cramming

After exam: PARTY!
