ZooMass Amherst (AKA: University of Massachusetts at Amherst)

I'll third it because 1) the school is great and 2) Im going there!
South Carolina.
Produces highly skilled clinicians.
Cheapest dental education in the US.
5 minutes away from my undergrad school (College of Charleston), so Ive lived here for the past 5 years.
Charleston is one of the worlds most beautiful cities!!

UNLV sucks.
Why UNLV is your top pick?
UOP. No doubt. 3 years. Good clinical. And there seems to be a bunch of cool cats matriculating this year after I looked through the UOP class of 2008 thread. Hope it works out for me next year.

Here I am the lone voice sticking up for mid-west schools. I think if I could choose, I would have picked University of Nebraska as my #1. Great board scores, small class size (45), parking soooo nice (just 25' from clinic),Lincoln is a great place to live, Husker football.
I'm still think I'm going to be very happy at UMKC. Of all the schools I have applied/interviewed/visited, UMKC has been the most student friendly. Always quick to reply to questions, Dianne Beard spent time to help me find a place to live. I really like the paperless clinic (totally computerized...including radiography).

UCSF without a doubt.

University of Alabama -- cheap for me, I'm from Birmingham, love the state of Alabama, and it seems to be a good place to learn dentistry.
Outside of that, I would say Baylor. I'm a big fan of Dallas, and I've heard Baylor has a solid program.

WHERE DID YOU APPLY, PLEASE LIST.
So I asked the magical 8 ball "Magical 8 ball, which dental school is best?" . Magical 8 ball said.. UCLA!
Then I asked the magical mirror on the wall "Mirror mirror on the wall, which dental school is the best one of them all?" Magical mirror on the wall answered .. UCLA!
Lastly, I held a tiny green leprechaun at gun point and asked the same question.. to which he replied UCLA!
There you have it. It's UCLA

Last year my #1 was a tie between Temple and Tufts. Great schools, great reputations, very clinical, and happy students. At the time, Tufts was slightly the winner, because Boston is such a great city, and I thought Philly was garbage due to its reputation, but after giving Philly a second chance, and taking into consideration the tons of money I would save, I chose Temple.

Columbia and UPenn.... then Louisville (highly underestumated school).

Mine would have ot be the Barbizon School of Dentistry because I am not sure if I want to be a dentist or just look like one!

Honestly, way too many. If you really want to know, hit me up with a pm. Good luck.
And go UOP!! I believe their basketball program was ranked in the top 25 for some time this past season AND they made it into the tournament. Another reason to go there. 😀
