I just took the DAT today and the results are sweet and sour, here are my scores.
PA 18
QR 17
RC 14
Bio 20
GC 19
OC 20
TS 20
AA 18
Now what happened was that during the RC the screen began to flicker and the words are so small i couldnt read them, so i ran out to the women and she came in and fixed the screen, this happened twice and it killed about 10-15 min. , when i restarted the test i was very stressed for time and i couldnt read the last two passage, skimming didnt help since they were on comits and image scanning, i didnt know anything about them before hand.
I feel so stupid with a 14, what should i do? do i have a chance to get into a decent school?
let me add that i have a 3.7 gpa and i work as a dental intern at my dads office (as if the board members care).
please let me know what you whould do. I am sick over this. 😡

relax. with your other scores you are fine. i am willing to bet that most of the schools will not even notice the RC if its "mixed" in with the rest. i don't think there is a need to retake teh DAT over this, with your GPA and your DAT scores I think you are in teh green zone. good luck. which schools have you applied to?

I know but you said it your self, "things don't work out as expected", so is getting stressed/worked up going to make them work out as expected? In the dental field there are too many hurdles, first college and then real practice. Do you know that dentist have the highest suicide rates - why? Because they do not take it easy, always stressed about one thing or the other.

My friend, just let it go. It's honestly not worth loosing your sleep over it. You tried your best, now let the Almighty do the rest.

Good luck.
