I’m taking the DAT in a few days and am beginning to get a bit jittery and have finally decided to do some practice questions since I figure that it would be in my best interest. I was wondering, from people who have already taken it, what can you compare the overall difficulty of the test to? Ideally, I would feel a bit more comfortable knowing slightly better what I was walking into.
.I have done the problems from Destroyer, Kaplan, and Topscore. Would you guys say the test is on par with topscore (and hopefully not destroyer)? Specifically I would like to know about the natural sciences and the PAT. For the most part, reading comprehension is reading comprehension. I appreciate any input you guys can provide. Also, to anyone taking the DAT in the upcoming future like myself, best of luck..

Kaplans PAT is way to easy. The angles are really close on the DAT. Kaplans natural sciences section pretty accurate maybe even tougher. I was scoring about 19-20 on kaplan and got 24 in natural sciences. PAT I scored pretty much what I was scoring on Kaplan. Good Luck

would you say the pat is on par with topscore? also, i hear nothing but bad things about qr. if you work diligently, its is manageable to finish in time?

i took the test last week and the pat is like crack the pat, very similar. the folding section was the hardest by far and then it was the hole punching section that was the second hardest. but if you can do well on crack the pat, then i am guessing you will do fine. As for QR, good luck thats all i have to tell you. but make sure you study QR!
