Doing a survey to find out what your schools clinical implant requirements are.

List the name of the school and how many implants you have to restore or place. If there is not requirement but you are allowed to restore or place please also list that. Finally, if your school makes you refer all implant cases to the spec programs please list that.

**You are not required to restore any implants if you do not want to. Although, we do have a lot of exposure to implants if you want it. Patients are sent through our implant clinic and you have the opportunity to attend all surgeries, etc... If you want graduation credit for the case (in place of regular dentures, crowns), you have the opportunity to do the impressions, resotrative work, etc.. You do the work and the implant fellow supervises and helps if you need it. We also have the chance to do rotations in the implant clinic if we want. (Usually 1-2 weeks at a time).

We can restore as many as we want, but we only get credit for 2 because they are so darn easy.

We don't place them in the predoctoral program.

Same for NYU. Since single implant and crown is $550, there are plenty to restore. Although, no undergrads are allowed to place the implant itself, but you can assist in the case if you wish.
