why does zinc have a more favorable oxidation than copper?
I would think Copper has a higher oxidation potential b/c it has a lower ionization energy and hence it is "easier" to lose an electron and b/c oxidation is "losing electrons".....then ya I would pick copper.
anyone have a different approach to this?
