Without an MCAT all we can say is "modest gpa's" and the rest is ok...

i get the desire to want to start med school ASAP, but if you're a low GPA applicant, why wouldn't you just apply after your senior year? your GPA on AMCAS is going to be the 3.61/3.38, and this is what schools are going to go by. sure, you can send them your fall semester grades, but there's no guarantee it'll matter. why not get As senior year so you can boost the GPA and then apply?
