Prisma Health and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville Office of Graduate Medical
Education invites all fourth-year medical students from historically underrepresented backgrounds who are seeking
a residency in 2024 to attend our Virtual Open House to learn more about our residency programs at Prisma Health
in the Upstate. Come meet residents, faculty and departmental leaders as we discuss our approach to creating an
inclusive and supporting training environment here at Prisma Health.
We believe that diverse voices, backgrounds and lived experiences nurture our workplace culture and lead to
better communication, discussions, decisions and outcomes. Motivated by equity we thrive, and through inclusion
we embrace and celebrate our differences. It is imperative to acknowledge systems of privilege and disparity and
essential to address and improve the resulting inequities in our health care system and community. Our goal is to
strengthen and support a growing network of diversity in health care.
