DO 3.45cGPA/3.37sGPA/496 MCAT. Any chance?

I got a 127 C/P, 122 CARS, 122 B/B, 125 P/S. 3.45/3.37 (3.9/3.9 in senior year).

Do I have a chance at any DO schools??

A 496 is a 23 on the old scale. That 122 in B/B is a 6.5 on the old scale which is more worrying. You may have a chance at lower tier DO schools like ACOM and KYCOM if you have a compelling story or are urm or military. DO is possible, but not probable.

With low bio and verbal scores, you don't have much chance with DO schools, except maybe the newest ones, and it's a large maybe. Retake the MCAT with a specific focus on verbal and biology and aim to score a balanced 503+. From there, you can apply to any DO school you wish.

Maybe the newest ones (I can't recommend LUCOM). Your MCAT score puts you at risk for failing out of med school, and/or Boards.

My real mcat scores were 22, 23, 22 and then a 498. It's a really good thing dcom looks at the applicant as a whole

How do I contact schools that I may be retaking in January? Do I call them individually? I recently added them in my primary app (today).
