A trend in the pearson pcat practice test

I've noticed that last 8 questions (40-48) are associated with the hardest passage and they are not counted. All 3 PCAT test that I purchased did not count the last 8 questions towards my scorecard. Will this trend also follow on actual PCAT?? or is it randomized?

how did you know that cus mine did count all. There are mystery experimental questions in the passages which are the questions whose grades are not counted though

Maybe we had different order? What I did was, I looked at the answers and got every single on of them right and seleced the last 8 wrong intentionally. I received a perfect score.

EDIT: btw I was talking about reading comprehension and not bio/chem passages
