Are we supposed to have a set amount of E.C.'s?

Hi, I'll keep this short in interest of your time:

My E.C.'s seem to be way less than what people say on the internet.. a place where sometimes people lie.. but just wanted to make sure.

My only E.C.'s are:

Pharmacy Tech - 1300 hours (quit to become EMT)
EMT - 2500 hours (Current)
Clinical Volunteering - 200 hours
Shadowing - x (soon - around 50 hours specifically D.O.)

Am I supposed to be doing anything else?

GPA - 3.76
MCAT - not yet
^ included these since amount of E.C.'s might correlate with it?

Applying this summer.

Thank you in advance!

Besides off-campus, non-medical community service where you interact with those in need, a leadership experience is nice to see, as is teaching (either of which could be a subset of one of the experiences you listed above, if you mentored or oriented new employees). Listing a hobby, sport involvement, or an artistic endeavor is also desirable. Research isn't an essential, but you could consider it.

Thank you both. I appreciate you taking time in reading this and replying quickly!

I will work on doing what you suggested.
