Hi, I'm M3 student and rotate divisions of internal medicine.
I had thought Harrison is the best book when M2, but now I realized that knowledge about clinical manifestation is most important to take history from patients.
Harrison just says "Acute gouty arthritis mostly involves 1st MTP joint but also tarsal joint, ankle, and knee joint." So after having read this sentence, I just asked my patient "which joint have you hurt?"

If I had known joint pattern(unilateral 1st MTP -> other side -> unilateral ankle -> other side -> unilateral knee-> other side ) involved in acute gouty arthritis, I would have asked exact chronological order.

Anyway, I want to know the book about detailed clinical manifestation.
I read "current diagnosis and treatment" but I want more.
Any other recommandation?
