Hey guys! I just got my MCAT score and my break down was
9 - Verbal
10 BS
10 PS

My EC's:

RA for on-campus housing
Tutoring
Shadowing 100+ hours
Volunteering in community 80+ hours
Fraternity - professional
Pre-Med Honor Society
Peer Mentor
Research for a calendar year but I really didn't like it
Summer Science Intern
Letter of Recs: a couple really good ones but the others I would say are average.

I don't know what to do. Should I retake my MCATs. I am applying this cycle. No preference over DO/MD.
If I do retake the MCATs I would apply simultaneously and I was thinking about the 7/26 date. Suggestions?

If you really have no preference for DO/MD, I say apply ASAP and focus mainly on DO schools. You should be good at a bunch of DO programs, but not so much MD ones.

should I apply and simultaneously take the MCATs to improve my score? Maybe that way I can have an option of attending an MD school as well? But I'm not really sure what the procedure is for schools awaiting scores. Do you have any idea how the sending scores thing works after you submit the application?
