What did you study?

I did not study for the general boards....

Study to 10 year review articles on all types of topics in the AACAP orange journal. It's where they used to take most test questions from. It was harder than general psyc written exam. Orals are about the same.

I studied as I had been out of residency for a bit before I took them.

I used Beat the Boards. That was enough. I'm not sure what the pass rate was, but I'm glad I studied. My impression was there seemed to be more psychosocial types of question then the general boards. The percentage needed to pass this year was 68%.
