does anyone know a quick and easy way to get an accurate concentration value from a p-scale value?

if 1x10^-X, pH=X

pH 3 is 1x10^-3 M
pH 4 is 1x10^-4 M

pH 3.5 is 3x10^-4 M (start w pH 4, 3>1, you have HIGHER H concentration than if you had 1x10^-4, so pH should DROP... you just have to do rough memorization of how big the A in Ax10^-4 needs to be to drop pH by how much. 3x10 drops by 0.5 pH, so there's your jumping off point.
