So I have just started studying for the CCS part of the exam and as I understand it simply ordering something doesn't get you credit. You have to actually see the results of the test as well. My question is for the following scenario or something similar.
Pregnant woman with UTI comes in. You work her up and give her nitrofurantoin and schedule her for a f/u in 2 weeks. You get some updates that the patient feels better and is happy that the meds worked but the case ends with the 2 minute screen coming up. In that screen if you schedule a repeat urinalysis to check if UTI has gone away, will you get credit or do you have to actually see the result of the test to get credit for it?
