I think it's well known here on SDN, that many people feel a lot of pressure to do well in school and EC's. Every year, requirements to get into medical schools and most other schools or programs become higher and higher, and more difficult to accomplish.
-As a tutor, and as a student, I'm wondering where you think this trend is going?
-How can you tell if your child/student is getting too much pressure from you?

Animal Crossing is a kid's video game released around 2012 by Nintendo. I just watched it a moment ago and now I've nearly got the shivers. As this portion of the video game may have been designed to do, it had me rethink how my students might be receiving messages from their parents and myself as we try to prepare them for test, etc.
PS - I know these questions may be more appropriate for a thesis than a normal discussion but thought I'd bring it up anyway.
