For those of us who will be applying next year I was hoping to seek the sage wisdom of those ahead of us regarding the programs they really were impressed by this year on the interview trail, specifically in regards to training in malignant heme.
In other words, what programs would you definitely recommend applying to for someone - whose name rhymes with smallcash - who wants top notch malignant heme training but doesn't want to apply to more than 8 programs for financial reasons. I'm coming from a strong home program myself so only interested in upper tier programs that didn't disappoint on the trail this year, have good mentoring, and won't make me regret my decision from a program culture standpoint.
