Hi guys and gals! I'm trying to find a way to separate the "academic" AoA (osteopathic equivalents) programs from the community programs. Is there a way to do this? I'm so clueless sometimes! Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know that a truly academic osteopathic program exists. Maybe some that have university affiliations like MSU-COM or UMDNJ-COM.
Thats why I went allopathic, for fellowship reasons.

As theneh said, there are no true academic DO programs.

UConn is dually accredited. I think they're the only academic DO IM program. The others are university-affiliated community joints at best.
