Hello..I am a foreign trained dentist studying for the part 1, I have 1998 dental decks and so far they are very helpful...my question is...should I buy the 2001 edition?..is the 1998 edition enough?
Are there more subjects covered in the 2001 dental decks?

Any suggestions are welcome..

Any suggestions are welcome..

The 98 and 2001 Decks are very similar, with just some minor changes made. The 2004 Decks are much different than the 2001 series, however the same material is covered.

You should be fine with any of those three sets, just remember to learn the information on the back of the card, rather than focusing solely on the front questions.

Hi Boggu,
Iam married almost a year now and if there is anything i lack its the word motivation in myself. I have got all the study materials but havent been able to concentrate at all. I am planning on giving my NBDE part 1 in november or earlier if iam prepared. I would like it if we discussed our studies , really happy you started this thread.

Hi Boggu,
i am planning on doing upto 50 decks a day. Can i be thoroughly prepared on reading decks and some text books within 4 months.....do u think it will be give me a good score? I have lost touch since internship for a year now, guess i will find it difficult to study initially, but nevertheless will do it!
