Delayed app start. Primary verified, need to add schools. Too late?

Delayed start due to family medical issues that have been distracting me. I'm a strong research applicant (>1 first author articles, IF > 10) but a weak stats one (3.7/511). Is it too late to begin doing secondaries and submitting for schools? Should I wait another year? Thanks all.

It is a little late... about 70% of eventual MD/PhD applications for the cycle have been submitted. You must apply broadly and to a lot of match programs. If you have strong LORs, you should have choices.... Verification is happening relatively quick right now. Get your transcripts and LORs into AMCAS asap. PM me.
