Difficult to get Mohs away rotations at academic centers

Hi everyone,

Anyone else struggling to get Mohs away rotations at academic centers? This seems to be a national trend, as I have encountered it at institutions at multiple states. The private/ community programs have been much more flexible.

I hear so much about how important connections are at this stage, and I'm just concerned about getting shafted because there doesn't even seem to be an opportunity to rotate at these places. I come from a well-regarded academic program, which I thought would help.

Ask your mohs person at your program if they have any colleagues they would recommend you rotate at. Otherwise, email every place you would like to go and see who says yes.
