Looks like pharmacists are satisfied with their job still. Here is what was found:

81% earned between $51 and $70 per hour.

71% worked over 40 hours per week

70.9% saw increased workload.

23% were dissatisfied with work.

I'd love to make 70 an hour! And I don't believe 71% worked over 40 a week. Unless they're all salaried and their employers are taking advantage of them.

Just to add
52.4% worked 40 to 44 hours
10.9% worked 45 to 49 hours
5.7% worked 50 to 59 hours
2.8% worked over 60 hours
11% worked under 30 hours
17.2% worked 30 to 39 hours

My base has always been above 40 hours per week.

Some of us work more than one job. So even with a 32-hour base at my full time gig, I work more than 40 hrs. Add that to the 42-45 hr bases for many retail full-timers and the salaried and overworked that you pointed out and it adds up.
 
40 hrs/week here, and I love my job...but a good chunk of that is because my coworkers are pretty cool.
