I'm getting ready to set up my last year of med school and wanted to know what electives would especially help when going into family practice. I'm already planning on taking radiology and derm. I'm still debating on cardiology. Someone once told me to take plastics, but I didn't understand the logic behind it. What other electives would be extremely helpful for FP?

Derm, ortho, endocrine (diabetes) preferably all with an outpatient slant to them, i.e. not rounding on hospitalized total hips during ortho...
