Hello, im applying to suny optometry year 2020 and my cuny undergrad school wasnt the best and there was no optometry club or anything like that. I have good gpa but what concerns me is extracurriculars. This is wat i have
Extracurriculars:
Deans list, 4+ years of clinical experience at a medical office, basic life support certified, administrative assistant/dental assistant at a dental office, 1+ year optometric technician experience, over 50 shadowing hours, private college calculus/science tutor, 2+ year of experience as a sales associate, captain of soccer team, in volleyball and badminton team, working with salvation army, volunteered at a medical office, a school as teachers assistant.
Is this enough to be considered for admissions? U can share your pre optometry experience
