Does being a class president of a college class or some president of a club matter a lot?

It seems to me that medical schools MAINLY look at:
- GPA
- MCAT
- Lettors of Recommendation
- Time Spent in Hospitals

do what you have a passion for. extracurriculars should be for you more than med school.

They matter as long as all the other things are there too.

I know that med schools want well roundedness. Liberal arts and humanities.

Are you seriously only interested in getting a med school acceptance out of your whole entire college career? What about the whole "college experience"? Live a little.

I hope so (cuz I'm president of a club). But seriously, it's a club that I cared about with people I like and they nominated me for president (I had originally ran for VP). So if you have an opportunity to run for prez for a club you care about, go for it and think of med school app as a bonus.
