I've completed my pre-doc and post-doc hours and have passed the EPPP. The only thing missing is me submitting the post-doc hours (Form 4). However, this following statement on the op.nysed.gov website is throwing me off:
My post-doc experience ended in June (I have 1,750 post-doc hours), I passed the exam in August. This statement implies that I needed to pass the EPPP prior to finishing post-doc.
Has anyone here passed the EPPP and got their license after finishing their post-doc year? I'm not quite sure what to make of this.
Thanks
Take the EPPP examination prior to completing post-doctoral experience. New York State will only require EPPP (Part 1 – Knowledge) as a basis for licensure. EPPP (Part 2-Skills) has not been adopted in New York State.
