Funding for unpaid research

I accepted a summer research position that's going to be unpaid during the summer because the lab isn't going to receive much funding until January. Any way for me to make income over the summer besides part time jobs (which will be impossible for me because of extreme lack of time) - such as scholarships or grants or things like that?

Thought about that. It's an option I can do on the side but my first impression tells me that it's not enough

Do lab work during day. Get job at night. Is tough but people do it!
