My college only has 1 semester of general chemistry, to meet the 2nd semester requirement of some medical schools can I replace this with biochemistry?

What are the pre-reqs for organic chemistry? That gen chem semester + something else or just the gen chem semester?

I know some schools will take biochemistry in place of organic II. I don't think you can take biochem in place of the second inorganic (gen) chem. Talk to your school's premed advisor to see what other premeds do.

That's what students at UC berkeley have to do and they churn out tons of med acceptances, I don't think it's a problem especially since gen chem II doesn't even exist at your school.
