Having a baby and Med. School!!!!

Hey ladies,
When is the best time to have children? Is it wise to get pregnant during the first two years when its only book work? Or is it wise to do it during the last two years when its just clinical rotations? Or what about during residency?? Help!!!!

this topic has been widely discussed there. i myself hope to have a baby one year b-4 i start school. this decision is a result of research and speaking to people who have been thru the process.

Good idea to talk to people who have been through the process. I've seen people do it through all the years of medical school and each has pros and cons. They've all made it through and it really didn't seem like there was a drop in their performance at any level. BUT they did look tired most of the time.
