Does anyone know of a good hematology text-book. I have found that for Oncology, using up to date and recent journals provide enough background but it gets more challenging with Hematology.

Any suggestions?

Williams Hematology. Your school should have access.

Any resources in general that one might recommend for

1) Leveling up your heme/onc knowlege from medical school to resident/fellow level
*And preferrably succinct if possible.
*is up to date good enough like the OP mentioned above? anything else you'd like to recommend?

2) Quick references to read while on the go?
What about this? http://www.amazon.com/Washington-Hematology-Oncology-Subspecialty-Consult-ebook/dp/B008B8619M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403926604&sr=8-1&keywords=hematology oncology

Or the pocket oncology? http://www.amazon.com/Pocket-Oncology-Notebook-Alexander-Drilon-ebook/dp/B00JKR7Y08/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403926559&sr=8-1&keywords=pocket oncology

I'd like to get ready for a heme onc elective. Thanks for your responses
