kind of a basic orgo question that i cant recall and tried googling but couldnt find my answer, but just wondering. When hydrogen peroxide is formed, why is it looking for two electrons to form water? not just one electron? are those two electrons coming in the form of a hydride ion? Also, in simple redox reactions, when nad is reducted nadh, or nadh is oxidized to nad, is it one electron being gained or lost? or two? Also, are these electrons also in the form of a hydride ion?
