Yup, I need to know my drugs and I realized that I've been just trying to keep my head above water and pass classes. But I don't know my drugs real well. Hospital pharmacy makes me feel overwhelmed. I want to go to hospital pharmacy later on. But I'll have to work retail (I'm a foreign trained pharmacist and have been completing my internship hours in a hospital in CA). Does anyone else feel that way?
I've so far learned TPN calculations, mixing TPNs, Vanco dosing, soon starting with ABs.
Did anyone else feel this way with their hospital rotations? How did you guys cope? What do you suggest I do?
