So, I just seperated from the military and have started applying to Medical Schools for the 2011 term.
I graduated from University of Maryland University College (UMUC) with a degree in Environmental Science. I have all my prereqs done through my prior, traditional, college experience.
One major problem I've ran into is the lack of a committe letter since there is no committe or even a pre-med advisor (as far as I can tell).
Not trying to turn this into a WAMC thread, but my GPA is decent (3.45 Sci, 3.71 cum), I've good ECs, and virtually no research. Is the online college thing going to seriously hinder me? If I dont get in, would it be worth to attempt getting a BS from a traditional college (Im probably about a year away from a biology, or possibly a chemistry degree if I went full time).

Thanks in advance for the advice!

That site explained nothing and was just a set of ads. This looks like spam to me.
