Hey guys! I just finished a residency interview and I’m drafting my thank you email. I was wondering- would it be okay to elaborate on a question that was asked during my interview? It wasn’t anything clinical- more so personal, along the lines of how you reflect on your growth as a person over the last few years.
This is me being beyond honest, a couple hours after the interview I started to reflect on this question a little more and I feel like the answer I gave didn’t do it justice.

So would it be okay to mention, I wanted to share upon further reflection? Nothing more than 2 sentences.

Or does that look bad??? Please let me know :)

Thank you!

If it's not multiple chapters/paragraphs, 1-2 sentences is still fine. I did something similar, but it was more clinical and I responded to the specific individual the same day. I would imagine a non-clinical reflection that blends well in a thank you email is sufficient.
