As posted above - what does it look like? Will big hospital systems not hire you due to the lack of board certification? Are you limited to private practice? How does a private practice gauge if you've been trained well?

Very region dependent. Take the ABPM boards. Their website has a list of states in which ABPM = ACGME.

PP never really knows if someone is good until they with together, regardless of training. Mutual connections may help. Ask to shadow a procedure day so you can talk shop and you can both see if practice styles, knowledge, skills are compatible.
