I graduated in May and am currently working full time in a research lab, but my employment here ends on August 5. I plan to get married next summer and really need to save some money before starting med. school. Would adcoms look down on me for finding a job that pays better such as one in sales, etc. since I need to save for me and my future wife.

Any comments are appreciated.

I think that if you explain your situation, they would completely understand why you took a different job.

No, I don't think they will. They hardly even asked me about what I have been doing during this last year and my situation was almost exactly like yours. Saving money for the wife and marriage. I think as long as you keep up your service activities and volunteering, you'll be fine.

Congrats on getting married, its a great institution. I fully endorse it.

Nope.

You have to eat and pay rent. Your future wife will appreciate the nice ring you will but here with all your earnings! :D

Keep up your volunteer work.
