Kaplan then TPR?

Hey everyone!
I took the Kaplan course 2X. Took some upper level bio and am now ready to take the exam again. Anyone ever take Kaplan and then try TPR? I'm in the NY area and have heard TPR here is pretty good.

If your a re-taker did tpr improve your score? I'd assume the two courses after studying their materials would lead to somewhat comparable results.
I had a friend who took Kaplan and then went down after taking TPR. Anyone have a similar story.
Just wondering whether to invest in their materials or not.
