Hi everyone,

I had a question about sending evaluation requests on OTCAS. They have now changed it where you can submit a maximum of 5 letters. If, for example, one school requires letters from 1 OT, 1 faculty, and 1 employer, and another school requires 2 OTs and 1 faculty/employer, then I would have to upload a total of 4 letters of recommendation. My question is, would the schools be able to pick and choose which letters they want to read (most require 3, but I'll have more letters available)? Does the order in which I submit evaluation requests matter?

Thank you!

This is a great question that I also have....anyone?

I applied last year and submitted 4 letters of recommendation for the same reason. I asked one program whether this would be an issue when I visited (before applying) and they said that they'd just pick which ones they needed. I don't believe the order matters, but that's just based on my experience last year. Hope this helps at least a little!
