I'm a non-traditional student and have to work 7am - 4pm, Monday through Friday. I've already spent a year volunteering in a private hospice. Hospitals here in town seem to be rather full up on patient-facing opportunities in evening hours.

Before I decide to put in time in a non-patient-facing position, I wanted to tap the hivemind for other ideas for places that typically have evening hours. Thanks for any help!

I have a similar schedule, bump because I'm interested in an answer too.

I volunteered at a ED in the evening, though the amount of patient contact was not the best. A nursing home may have some early evening hours for you to spend time with the residents during dinner.

Get your EMT cert and join a resque squad. I volunteer 6pm-6am one work day a week.

Free clinics usually operate in the evenings since their patients can't afford to take days off. Also a good place for premeds to get exp.
