Looking up flights to Maryland... Cutting it too close?

I'm trying to leave right after my interview with the University of Maryland. The cheapest flight leaves at 553pm and interview day concludes at 430pm. Will this be cutting it too close? Or should I book the flight?

Interviews tend to end a bit earlier than scheduled. If you're leaving from BWI you should be fine. If its from RR in DC or Dulles in va you're not going to make it.

Would traffic getting to the airport from BWI be a problem?

oh yea i forgot md traffic is crazy horrible around that time.

I would say it's risky. The highways get really congested at that time to BWI, and you don't know how quickly you'll get through to the gate. I don't think it's impossible but that's cutting it pretty close, so I'd recommend booking a later flight.

Don't op. You won't make it on time to your flight. Not to also mention going through TSA is time consuming.
