LOR writer bailed and worried about the impact this will have

Just as the title says, my predicament is that now my apps are stuck with the 'not submitted' status for this writer. The good news is that a veterinarian I know very well was happy to write a recommendation for me. So this along with the two letters I recieved from my college professors puts me at three LOR. Ultimately, I'm wondering whether or not the unsubmitted status will result in me taking a hit this cycle.

Depends on the school. Not all schools require all your letters (maybe just your required ones) to move your application to screening.

I appreciate the input. At the very least I'm fortunate that I was able to hit the base LOR requirements, best thing I can do now is to continue submitting secondaries.
