These materials you need approximately about 3-6 weeks. These are more brief and more compact prep materials. take this witha grain of salt and happy studying

1) Pearson Practice Tests - Made by the same company who provide the actual exam. You may only need to buy 1 practice test to provide you with an indicative score of what you'll actually score on the real PCAT.

2) Dr Collins - Best quick concise refresher. Has the most numerous amounts of practice tests that are very similar in difficulty out of any other PCAT prep. The newer edition are the only prep that provides the comprehensive passage questions that are now being implemented in the newer PCAT. For sure to ace the chem, bio, and do well in the quant section.

3) Chad's Videos aka Coursesaver - Pair this with Dr Collins and you will ace the the chem portion no doubt. Advertised for the DAT but his teaching videos for the Organic/Inorganic/Biochemistry are super helpful. Also includes strategy approach to save time on certain topic questions that show up and includes small amount of questions after each lesson. Use this for a full comprehensive relearning of the topics

4) Bozeman Science Youtube Channel - Also a full comprehensive review of Biology. Its free and his teachings on each topic is relatively short. Its free too!

5) For Reading - Use GRE/MCAT reading passages at your local barnes and noble.

Used the first three you recommended and did really well on the PCAT. I did poorly on the reading but the other sections buffered it and still maintained a good composite. thanks for the post!

I agree Dr. Collins was extremely helpful. A couple of questions actually came upon the PCAT word for word. The Kaplan PCAT Prep Plus is very detailed but Dr. Collins gives you what is needed. Also, the Pearson practice was helpful.

A little note on chads videos, use his actual website. I dunno what happened with him and course saver but he now has his own videos on the same topics but they are now all free, without the quizzes tho.

You know pharmacy schools don’t even take the PCAT into consideration anymore. Not even the established programs

Lots of Pharmacy schools in the Midwest, South, and East require PCAT scores for application.

This is the Official Pharmacy College Admission Tests Candidate Information Booklet:

Seems they are still distributing the PCAT as usual for the 2020-2021 year so many schools will still be needing them.

Give me a list of schools that require PCAT. There are many established schools that don’t require the PCAT. This profession is decreasing standards drastically due to job saturation so I do not know why OP wants to waste time studying for the PCAT. There is the TEE, MCAT and GRE that are worth OP’s time. This is the truth about pharmacy and PCAT.

This is just for students who need to know if their perspective schools require the PCAT or not, need certain course requirements (including hrs), and other supplements they require specifically. It includes the entire public/private pharmacy schools found in the U.S.
