From the NCPA Student Affairs Site
The deadlines to apply for national office are coming up!
All NCPA members are encouraged to apply.
Student Executive Council (SEC) Application Deadline:
January 20th, 2009
Serving on the SEC is a great opportunity to help implement initiatives for NCPA students, influence national policy, and is both a personal and professionally rewarding experience. The SEC is comprised of 16 students who serve 2 year terms. Eight new students are selected every year from all over the country.
Responsibilities of a council member include participating in the annual SEC Leadership Retreat, NCPA Steering Committee Forum, attending NCPA conferences, and assisting in implementing the SEC yearly goals. SEC members receive travel and lodging reimbursement for most of these meetings.
For more information, visit http://www.ncpanet.org/ under student section, or contact Jason Doss, outgoing SEC president at [email protected] or John Stelmachowicz at [email protected]
