Hello SDN!

I will be taking the compounding portion of the NYS Part 3 exam at Touro next week, and wanted to ask a few questions about the materials we need to bring for it. AFAIK, St. John's and LIU provide you with an ointment pad as well as spatulas for the exam, but I have no information on what you need to bring to Touro.

So can anyone provide with some info on what materials you need to bring to Touro for compounding and what Touro will provide you with?

Also, for those who brought ointment pads and spatulas with them, what kind did you bring? Can you use regular wax paper in lieu of an ointment pad/slab, and can you use those regular small rubber spatulas that you use for baking?

Thanks for any information and help.

Cheers :)

You don't need to bring anything to the exam. Touro supplies you with everything you need.
Good Luck!
