opinion on kaplan verbal SECTION TESTS?

my test is coming up in january (this will be a re-retake) and I want to make sure i'm nailing verbal, which is my weakest link. in addition to reusing my past resources (ek101 and tpr verbal) i'm also using the verbal section tests for kaplan (there are a ton of passages).

I want to know what you guys think of them? I know the general consensus is that kaplan material isn't very strong, but i feel like those opinions are typically towards the FL's. If anything, i'm finding them a LOT better than the BR verbal material.

I personally find Kaplan verbal quite useless. HOWEVER, my friend who is a verbal genius likes them. I feel that if you're incredibly poor at verbal in general, then any practice is good practice, but if you're at 8/9 then you should be more focused on AAMC, EK, or even TPR. Good luck! Verbal is so evil.
