So with interview season coming up within the next few months I decided to compile a list of interview questions from different schools.

Barry:
How do you prioritize your time?
Explain why you stated in your essay that you have a strong science background when you have a low science GPA.
If you failed a class would you drop out of school?
What is your best quality?
Why Podiatry?
How well do you handle adversity?
If you could be any cell what would it be and why?
What can you contribute to Barry?
If you can't be a physician what is an alternate career path you considered?

What is the role of a Podiatrist in community health?
What got you interested in Podiatry?

How did you manage your time in UGRAD?
Why specialize in the foot as opposed to something else?
What makes you stand out?
How will you handle the weather?
Where else are you interviewing?
if you couldn't work in healthcare what would you do?

If you don't agree with a certain view, how do you handle the situation?
Describe a situation with a hesitant person.

Too add, this is also a good place to check out how people liked the schools, how comfortable they were, any other feedback people had!

Yes, i'm aware of that. Most of these were taken from there. It's just all on one centralized page now instead of having to click different links.

I highly encourage laziness =)
 
Any thoughts on what to say to a question "Tell me something about yourself" ? This type of question makes me think of a bad date starter

Wanna race to the first interview?? I don't think I'll win because my registrar hasn't sent me my confirmation letter saying they've been sent yet, but, still! Race??

I think the ones that have interviewed should update this with current questions from this cycle. I'll start by posting all the questions temple asked me.

Do you play sports?
Any family members in medicine?
Do you like Philly so far?
How do you like your ugrad institution?

The rest was all friendly convo about my LORs and Personal statement.

Surprisingly I wasn't even asked why Podiatry -_-

DMU questions I was asked:

What will you bring to the class of 2017?
How do your friends describe you?
Why do you think diversity is important?
Something you worked really hard towards at but still "failed" at. How did you overcome this?
How would you describe a perfect teacher?
Do you play any sports?
How was it like holding 2 jobs and going to school full time?
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Are you worried about the bad winter here?
 
there was this one question that was out of the ordinary when I was at Temple: If you are matched with a residency program in San Diego, would you go?
 
That is a pretty bad question for a prepod. Ask a fourth year student that now, and they will may not even know. So much will change in four years.

or anything along those lines?
