To go to pharmacy school, is it better to major in Biochemistry or Biology?

Hi @confusedmini! There isn't too much of a difference in terms of a biology or a biochemistry degree for pharmacy school. Both degrees contain courses that are required by pharmacy school. It really depends on what your interests are. Do you prefer a more chemistry oriented approach? You may have heard about concepts such as glycolysis, lipids, or amino acids which are taught profusely in biochemistry. A great way to get a better idea which degree you prefer is to talk to your undergraduate academic adviser. They will show you a list of courses required for each degree.

Hope this helps!

Major in computer science or engineering and start your career from there. Don't go to pharmacy school.
