Intresting article in the June 15 edition of AJHP about how publication of your resident project influences future publications. I would be interested to hear about who published their resident project and how that has affected their scholarship going forward.

It's a no-brainer to me that academic affiliated residencies have a higher rate of publication success.

Whether these publications are "research" like this very article done by academic affiliated pharmacists or real research is a better question to ask...

Didn't even bother trying, project was just one of those things I had to get done, can't say I did it with any sort of gusto.

Thanks for sharing this study, it's a nice validation of the utility of publishing one's residency project (although, there might be some bias towards academic-affiliated residency programs due to the author's affiliations).
