I was just wondering how anyone responded to this very common interview question. My response (as I am sure many did) centered around the lack of insurance, etc.

Very common? I wasn't asked that once! In fact, now that it's all over I'm kinda disappointed that I didn't have any really challenging interviewing questions.

I think a good response to this question is "that question about the biggest problem in healthcare."

You should respond, "Our healthcare system is perfect!" Interviewers will be refreshed by your youthful optimism!

I think another good answer would be that "doctors don't make as much money as they used to"
